Share a Yarn wishes to extend a sincere thank you to a number of parishioners who have generously helped to make our recent donations a success. Through your coat donations, we donated 65 coats to Community Action in Batavia. Many of those coats included scarves made
from the yarn that was donated. In addition, we took 20 hats to the VA Nursing Home in Batavia - "Hats for Heroes"- along with 4 additional hat and scarf sets. We also donated 30 chemo caps to patients at the Lipson Centers at UMMC in Batavia. We (along with the recipients) are so grateful for your kindness.
SHARE A YARN will meet Monday, December 7th at 7:00pm. We will be preparing our donations of children's hats, scarves and mittens for the Mitten box as well as the Elementary Schools in Bergen and Leroy.
MITTEN DONATIONS: We are asking for your support again! In past years we have asked for donations of mittens, hats, and
scarves for the Mitten Tree. However, this year we will provide a box for your donations. Let’s continue to stay safe while supporting this project.
