Happenings at Our Lady of Mercy

TODDLER TIME Toddlers two years old and older are invited (along with an adult) to play in the parish gym on January 19th from 9:00-10:30am. Free of charge!

  • Adult Formation Class with Fr. Justin at 10:00am

Thursday, January 18th

  • Eucharistic Adoration opens after 8:00am Mass,
    to 6:30pm with evening prayer & Benediction.

Saturday, January 20th

  • Winter Snow Blast–Genesee County Park from noon to 5:00pm for all adults and children from Our Lady of Mercy and St. Brigid. Meet at Pavilion A -
    Refreshments of hot cider, hot chocolate and s’mores provided.

Sunday, January 21st

  • Coffee Hour follows 10:30am Mass

THURSDAYS: Eucharistic Adoration follows the 8:00am Mass concluding at 6:30pm with Evening Prayer and Benediction.

ADULT CLASSES: Fr. Michael’s scripture class meets every Tuesday at 9:00am and 7:00pm. Fr. Justin’s class on the Church History is every Wednesday at 10:00am. These classes are held at Our Lady of Mercy Parish Center. Everyone is invited and encouraged to attend.

ROSARY FOR THE END OF ABORTION: Every Saturday morning at 8:00 a.m. the Mercedarian Third Order prays the Rosary for the end to abortion, world peace and for the sick or distressed of our parish. Everyone is invited to participate.

THE HOLY ROSARY is prayed Monday through Friday at 6:30 a.m. and on Sundays at 10:00 a.m. Please consider coming to Mass early to pray the Rosary with your fellow parishioners.

EUCHARISTIC ADORATION is every Thursday at the St. Peter’s Worship Site opens after the 8:00 am Mass and closes at 6:30 pm with evening prayer and Benediction. Please take a moment to stop in the Church during adoration and spend some time in prayer.

SAVE THE DATE for the ANNUAL MARDI GRAS on Saturday, February 10th at Our Lady of Mercy Parish Center. There will be food, drinks, raffles, including cash raffles. This fundraiser is spon-sored by and supports the Love Bug Preschool. For tickets and more information, please contact the parish office!

St. Brigid’s Happenings

COFFEE HOUR is this Sunday, January 14th following the 9:00am Mass. Join us for refreshments and fellowship.

RECYCLED TEENS will gather for Mass on Thursday, January 18th. A short meeting will follow and lunch will be at Stone’s Restaurant.

BOOK CLUB meets on Tuesday, January 30th at 6:30pm. We will discuss For The Love of Mike by Rhys Bowen and will continue our discussion of Rediscover Jesus by Matthew Kelly chapters 28-30. All are welcome.

THE HOLY ROSARY is recited a half hour before each weekend Mass at St Brigid Parish. Saturday Rosary is recited beginning at 4:30pm and Sunday Rosary is recited beginning at 8:30am. Please join your fellow parishioners in praying the Rosary.

Happening Elsewhere

MARCH FOR LIFE—JANUARY 18TH: The Buffalo Diocese will participate in the March for Life on January 18th with a Pro Life Bus Trip to Washington, DC. Those in the parish wishing to participate are urged to contact Ron Boehly at 329-5076 as soon as possible. Funds have been donated to help defray the cost for those wishing to participate. Don’t wait call Ron now!

Third Option Program helps you to find the joy in your marriage and live a happier, healthier life together. This is a skills-based workshop.
