Happenings at Our Lady of Mercy

Thursday, November 29th Adoration Eucharistic Exposition after the 8am Mass until 6:30pm Vespers with Benediction

THE KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS COUNCIL #2936 members will meet at the Knights of Columbus Hall on Tuesday, November 20 at 7:30 pm. We will also have a Knights Club Inc. meeting at that time. Members please attend as we will be covering very important financial business and we need your vote.

TODDLER TIME Toddlers two years old and older are invited (along with an adult) to play in the parish gym on Friday, November 30th from 9:00-10:30am. Free of charge!

GIVING TREE: As we begin the season of Advent and begin our preparations for Christmas, we also continue a long tradition of helping others in need. Gift tags will be available at the back of the church soon. We hope that you will stop in church and pick a tag off the Giving Tree to help an individual or family have a happy and joyful Christmas.

Magnificat Rochester invites all women and men to a breakfast on Saturday, December 1st.  More infomation can be found here.

ADORATION...Please consider giving one hour. You might be able to give one hour a week, or one hour every two weeks, or one hour a month, or even one hour a quarter. Any gift of your time is greatly appreciated and needed in order to keep our parish Adoration going. For those who are unable to participate in other Ministries, Adoration is a PERFECT opportunity to help our parish family by sitting and praying in the church for one hour. Please prayerfully consider this opportunity. Contact Ann Ehrhart 768-4728 for more information.

ST. FRANCIS CEMETERY COLLECTION: During the entire month of November we will collect monetary donations towards the upkeep of the cemetery. Please consider making a donation by placing your gift in an envelope marked St. Francis Cemetery. Thank you.

Check out our Middle School Youth Group "Battalion Imaculate"!

ROSARY FOR THE END OF ABORTION: Every Saturday morning at 8:00 a.m. the Mercedarian Third Order prays the Rosary for the end to abortion, world peace and for the sick or distressed of our parish. Everyone is invited to participate.

THE HOLY ROSARY is prayed Monday through Friday at 6:30 a.m. and on Sundays at 10:00 a.m. Please consider coming to Mass early to pray the Rosary with your fellow parishioners.

St. Brigid’s Happenings

GriefShare will not meet this week. We wish all of you a blessed Thanksgiving with family and friends.

ST. BRIGID’S BOOK CLUB will meet on Tuesday, November 27 at 6:30pm in the St. Brigid’s Parish Center. We will be discussing "Educated" by Tara Westover and "Perfectly Yourself,” Section 3 by Matthew Kelly. Since we will not meet in December bring a Christmas- themed book to our November meeting to exchange with someone in our group (if you would like). All are welcome; refreshments will be served.

ANGEL TREE: The Ladies of Charity are sponsoring a family for Christmas. Tags for items requested by the family will be available on the tree at the back of the church. Please take a tag, purchase the item, and return the unwrapped gift with the tag by December 16th. Your generosity is greatly appreciated.

THE HOLY ROSARY is recited a half hour before each weekend Mass. Saturday Rosary begins at 3:30pm. Sunday Rosary is recited at 8:30am. Please join your fellow parishioners in praying the Rosary.

PRAYER MINISTRY: Anyone is welcome to contact the St. Brigid Prayer Tree. If you have prayer requests, please feel free to call Marian Peck 548-2635 or Cheri Sheridan 748-7248.
